~ 2003 ~
On May 17, 2003 I went to the American Wings Air Museum at the Anoka County Airport in Blaine, Minnesota and found a bonus - the Discover Aviation Days air show was taking place with several WW II aircraft and a few jet trainers participating. I ended up spending eight hours in the hot sun and got one heck of a tan. The AMJET Aircraft Corporation had a hangar on the air show flight line, but it was closed to the public. I took a peek inside and saw several aircraft under restoration. After talking to one of their people, I was allowed an exclusive close-up look inside the hangar and took several rolls of film. I took enough pictures at both the air show and the museum to create three galleries. The pictures in this gallery are from the first day of the air show.
* A note about these pictures... What they say about the color saturation of Fuji film is correct. The majority of these pictures were taken on Fuji film and some were on Kodak film. You can tell which are the Kodak pictures because they're all faded and washed out.
