On May 22, 2004 I attended the Discover Aviation Days air show at the Anoka County Airport in Blaine Minnesota. This was the second year in a row that I have attended this air show. Unlike the previous year, this year's show was pretty wet and nothing was able to fly. Aircraft attendance was also lower, with only two Texans, two L-29's, one L-39, and two B-25's on the flight line. The one aircraft which made the whole cold and wet day worth it was a beautiful MiG-17. This was the same aircraft which made a fly past at last year's Air Expo in Eden Prairie, but this time it was on the ground and I covered every inch of it with my camera.
