After completing boot camp at RTC Orlando, Florida in September 1988, I attended the Aviation Machinist's Mate (AD) school at NATTC Millington. The school was located at NAS Memphis, Tennessee and I was there from September through December of 1988. During this time I learned everything there was to know about jet engines. We trained on F-4 Phantom airframes and performed engine runs on A-7 Corsairs. NAS Memphis held its annual air show while I was there and this page shows some of the aircraft from that show. Aircraft from the training command are also shown.
