Naval Air Facility Misawa, Japan 1994 ~ 1997 Air Shows
I was stationed at NAF Misawa from June 1994 through July 1998 and was assigned to the Jet Shop in the Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Department (AIMD). NAF Misawa is a Navy command on Misawa Air Base, which is run by the U.S. Air Force. There are other Navy commands located on the base, along with the Japanese Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF). The runway is also used by the Misawa City Airport. Misawa City is located in Aomori Prefecture at the very northeastern part of the main Japanese island of Honshu. The pictures in this gallery are from the base air shows I attended from 1994 through 1997.
